Builder’s risk inspection, from trenching to closeout
Carriers, developers and brokers rely on us to watch a build the whole way through — documenting work in place, construction quality, water intrusion risk, site security and fire-watch compliance on a cadence that follows where the exposure actually sits.
Built for the parties around an insured build
A builder’s risk programme has more than one interested party, and they need different things from the same visit. Our reporting is structured so each of them gets it without a phone call.
Insurance carriers
Independent verification of the risk you are carrying, with evidence that stands up in a claim file.
Developers
An early warning system on quality and water intrusion, before a defect is buried behind finishes.
Brokers
Demonstrable risk management that helps you place and retain the cover on better terms.
General contractors
A neutral record of progress and site conditions that removes the argument from the conversation.
The conditions that turn into claims
Work in place
Actual progress against the construction programme, recorded visit by visit with photographic evidence.
Construction quality
Workmanship, connections, load paths and installation against the approved drawings and specification.
Water intrusion risk
Envelope integrity, flashing, waterproofing and weather protection — the single largest driver of builder’s risk loss.
Fire watch & hot work
Hot work permits, fire watch coverage, extinguisher provision and combustible storage compliance.
Site security
Fencing, access control, lighting and material storage — theft and vandalism exposure.
Life safety
Egress, fall protection, scaffold condition and the site safety observations that precede an incident.
Scoped and priced per product
Every proposal names the product types in scope, the quantities each one collects, the inspection mode and the visit cadence — then prices from billing hours, visits and travel.

From carrier instruction to closeout report
-
1
Scoped proposal
We capture the programme, the parties and the products in scope, then issue an itemised proposal with the fee basis stated line by line.
-
2
Programme mobilisation
Acceptance creates the project and generates every scope. A project manager and lead are assigned, and the visit schedule is set against your milestones.
-
3
Recurring site visits
Engineers attend on cadence, record findings offline against defined checkpoints, and capture geo-tagged photographic evidence.
-
4
Reporting & escalation
Reports publish after independent review. Anything presenting immediate risk is escalated within 24 hours, not held for the next cycle.
Reporting a carrier can file
- Site visit report within three business days of each attendance.
- Geo-tagged, timestamped photographic log bound to the specific checkpoint it evidences.
- Running deficiency register with severity, recommendation and status, live in the portal.
- Immediate hazard notification within 24 hours of observation.
- Monthly progress summary against the construction programme, with schedule risk commentary.
- Consolidated closeout report covering the full construction period for the carrier file.
- Reports issued to the carrier, the developer and the named insured.
Put a programme in front of us
Tell us the development, the parties and the construction schedule. We will return an itemised inspection proposal — products, quantities, visit cadence, hours and fee — usually within one business day.
