About Inspection Viewer

Inspection work is evidence work

We were founded in 2009 by inspectors who were tired of losing findings between a clipboard, a camera roll and a word processor. Everything since has been built around one idea: a finding is only worth what you can prove about it.

Our story

From two inspectors to a national practice

Inspection Viewer Inc. started with two inspectors, a truck and a residential book of business in metropolitan Atlanta. The work was good. The paperwork was not — photographs lived on an SD card, observations lived in a notebook, and the report was assembled from memory two days later.

When our first institutional client asked for consistent condition data across eighty scattered-site rentals, that process broke completely. So we rebuilt it. Not the inspection — inspectors are trained to a standard for good reason — but everything around it: how a scope gets defined, who is qualified to sign it off, how a finding is captured at the moment it is observed, and how it reaches the client.

Today we run construction progress inspection for builder's risk carriers alongside residential, commercial, structural, environmental and compliance work commissioned directly by owners — all on a single platform. The inspectors still do the same disciplined visual work. They just no longer lose any of it on the way back to the office.

How we operate

Four commitments we do not trade away

Report what is there

We do not soften findings for the party who is paying, and we do not manufacture severity to justify a fee. A satisfactory system gets recorded as satisfactory.

Our own credentialed staff

Inspections are performed by employees we trained and whose licences we track — not by a subcontractor network we cannot vouch for.

Evidence with every claim

Every defect carries a photograph, a location, a condition, a severity and a recommendation. If we could not evidence it, we do not assert it.

The date we committed to

A report that arrives after the decision was made is worth nothing. We hold a 99.2% on-time record and we publish it.

Credentials

Licensed, certified and insured

Credential expiry is tracked inside the platform for every inspector. An engineer whose licence lapses cannot be assigned to work that requires it — the system will not permit it.
